Against all odds and tariffs- La Bien Aimée is in the Haus.
Founded 2015 in Paris by Kansas native Aimée Gille, and we don’t think it needs any further introduction as it seems obvious why this Studio has become a leader in the world of hand-dyed yarns.

As you know, we are big supporters of the non-profit organization Neighbor By Neighbor, a local charity taking care of folks in need right here in our Harbor Country community.
When they asked us if we would donate some “yarny things” to the auction they are holding during tomorrow's Up On A Hill Benefit Concert, we came up with two “packages”- one for the knitter and one for the crocheter.

It was a lot of fun to put this together-now we are looking forward to Winter and gifting season, hah!

If any of you is going to tomorrow’s event-I hope you will bid on this. Btw-they still have a few tickets left.

Restocked with new colors!

We love tweeds. We carry a lot of tweeds.
This classic beauty from is the softest and smooshiest tweed of all the tweeds in the Haus.

Lofty and rustic in character, it is a four-ply Aran made from of fine Highland wool and Donegal.
We just got the new colors in and they are amazing. With names like Wild Mushroom, Midsummer Night, Fern Fond and Cactus Flower the palette is modern, earthy and very wearable.

Can't wait to get our needles into this one....

Liz is back in the Haus from dilly-dallying around up North all week ( also called a "vacation.")

A quick progress update.

The "Alpine Deconstructed" with Plied Yarn Co. North Ave Twists and Primaries is 1 inch and another row of increases away from sleeve separation.

Awaiting reports from Rosemary regarding her "Norwood" using and from Liz and her "Wildflower Tee" situations in all the colors of the rainbow from Woolstok light.

New Yarn in the Haus!

Let's welcome "Riding on Air" Silk Mohair from to our collection of fluff.

Beautifully hand-dyed by Jamie Lewis up in Detroit-we are all in love with the richness, intensity and the incredible depth of her color ways. Killer!

Suzanna and Rosemarie dove right in and are working on some sweater magic-while we wait for that-come and check this yarn out.
Sadly a lot of the colors we got in our first drop from Jamie are already gone-but fear not-she is cooking up more for us as we speak.
