🎃 It is time to start planning Halloween in Tishomingo!

On Saturday, October 31st, we will kick things off downtown with Trick-or-Treat Main Street from 4:00–6:00 p.m. We will block off a couple of the side streets for safety and to have designated areas for trunk-or-treaters.

Now we need our businesses, churches, organizations, school groups, clubs and anyone else who wants to join the fun! Downtown businesses can hand out candy at their storefronts, and groups or businesses from anywhere in town are welcome to decorate a vehicle or table and set up a trunk.

After 6:00, the kids will still have plenty of time to head out across town for traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating.

Halloween is always more fun when the whole community gets involved. If you would like to participate downtown or set up a trunk, just contact City Hall at 580-371-2369, or First United Bank 580-219-0600, messenger us, or comment here so we can make sure we have a spot ready for you.

Let’s fill Main Street with candy, costumes and plenty of Halloween fun! 🎃

We have an idea, but we cannot create it without you!

We want to fill Main Street with scarecrows and create the Tishomingo Scarecrow Stroll.

Businesses, we really want you to join the fun! Build one that represents your business, your employees or whatever crazy idea your crew comes up with.

Churches, schools, organizations, clubs, families, individuals, and groups from all across Johnston County are invited too. There is no entry fee, no judging and no pressure. We just want to decorate Main Street and give everyone something fun to enjoy this fall.

If you are not a Main Street business, contact City Hall or message on here, to claim a spot.

Make it funny, cute or completely unexpected. Just keep it family friendly, able to handle Oklahoma weather and please, no real pumpkins(can get messy).

Let’s give Main Street a few new residents who never complain about parking or potholes! 🤷‍♀️

What could a Main Street Program mean for Tishomingo? Let’s get together and find out!

We are looking for business owners, community members, idea people, worker bees and anyone else who loves Tishomingo and wants to be part of what happens next.

You do not have to own a business or have all the answers. Just bring your ideas, your energy and maybe a friend!

Join us Tuesday, September 22 at 9:00 AM at the Mulberry. (Location changed due to number of people that have shown interest in attending)

This is our chance to dream a little, work together and see what possibilities are waiting for downtown Tishomingo! ❤️
