Whimsical Treasures by Jana Gen X'er who has found her niche! I create beautiful and unique paper and vinyl crafts. Take a look! I have found my niche with good ole paper and glue.

Gen X'er who has finally decided to put her creativity to work. :) I have 4 grown children and one elementary aged child (with special needs). I started crafting to put together a scrapbook and it escalated from there. I didn't realize how much therapy this would be, but with a special needs child, one needs an escape from time to time. I also do vinyl work, but my specialty is 3d layered card stock shadowboxes and acrylic engraved night lights.

I just wanted to update everyone. I made it successfully through my surgery. I was under for approximately 9 hours. Day one and two were my roughest days. Somehow my right foot and ankle was injured during my surgery. They think the placement of my leg pinched a nerve. So I couldn’t walk at all until today with the help of steroids, gabapentin and physical therapy today.
I have several incisions and pumps to deal with. My recovery is about 6weeks. I came home today with a walker and 9 medications.
I want to thank EVERYONE WHO HAS PRAYED FOR ME!! I love you all and am so honored to have you in my life! Okay now I’m off to sleep again 💤💤💤😴😴😴

My last show of the season 😭
Come on out and see me today at University of Toledo Art on the Mall Art show!!! I’m here from 10-4 today.
After today I will be getting my Breast cancer surgery and chemotherapy, so l will be out of commission until 2027 season.

Feeling melancholy about this but THANKFUL that I was able to do this show today!
