Two familiar Marvel characters. Two very different identities. 👀

Wolverine #8 from 1989 brings together Wolverine as Patch and the gray Hulk as Joe Fixit, from that strange stretch of Marvel history when Logan was operating under an alias in Madripoor and Hulk was living a very different life in Las Vegas.

And then there’s that cover. 🔥

Wolverine in the white tux, gray Hulk towering behind him, and classic John Buscema artwork. It’s one of those Wolverine covers that’s hard to pass by without taking a second look.

We have a newsstand edition in VF/NM condition available now. 📰

If you collect the original Wolverine run, newsstand editions, or just love this era of Wolverine and Hulk, check it out:

🕷️ Amazing Spider-Man has officially hit ISSUE #1000!

It’s kind of crazy to even type that. There aren’t many comic books that ever get to celebrate something like this, and Marvel definitely didn’t hold back for Spider-Man’s 1000th issue.

There are SO many covers for this one, and the artist lineup is pretty incredible. John Romita Jr., Steve Ditko, Alex Ross, Mark Bagley, J. Scott Campbell, Peach Momoko, Frank Miller, Skottie Young, Humberto Ramos, Erik Larsen, Lee Bermejo, Patrick Gleason, Pepe Larraz… and that’s still not everybody.

Some of these names have been part of Spider-Man’s history for decades, so having all of them represented on the same milestone issue is just really cool.

And honestly, this is one of those times where having a million variants actually makes sense. 😂 There are covers for longtime Spidey fans, art collectors, people who collect certain artists, and a few that are just plain awesome.

We have a bunch of the Amazing Spider-Man #1000 covers available to order right now!

🕷️ Spider-Man fans… this one just came in today.

The black suit has always been one of my favorite Spider-Man looks, but there’s a lot more to it than just being a cool costume.

Spider-Man first got the black suit during Marvel’s Secret Wars, not realizing exactly what he had brought back with him. Once Peter discovered the suit was actually a living alien symbiote and got rid of it, that same symbiote would eventually bond with Eddie Brock and become Venom.

So yeah… pretty important piece of Spider-Man history. 😬

Iron Studios did a really nice job bringing that classic comic look to this 1:10 scale statue. The black and white suit looks great, and the pose and base make it feel like something pulled right out of a comic panel.

We just got ours in today and it’s up on the site now!

Gambit is my absolute favorite character, so obviously when I saw Gambit Gone #1 was coming out, I had to make sure we got it in the shop. And yes, I definitely got myself a copy too. 😂❤️

We have three different covers available, including the main cover, Russell Dauterman variant, and Aco variant. I seriously love all three of them.

If you’re a Gambit fan too, check them out! We’ve also got some other Gambit goodies on the site. ♠️♦️

Okay, our Age of Apocalypse collection is getting pretty awesome 😍

This one is especially fun for me because Age of Apocalypse is my favorite X-Men storyline of all time. I’ve always loved the whole idea behind it — one huge change to history creates this completely different world where Apocalypse has taken over, the X-Men we know are completely different, and Magneto is the one leading them against him. It was such a cool way to take characters you already knew and completely flip everything around.

We’ve been adding more and more Age of Apocalypse stuff to the shop and now we have a little bit of everything — comics, figures, Pops, and even some of the original sealed Toy Biz figures from the 90s.

I love that we have stuff from the original era mixed in with the newer X-Men of Apocalypse books too. Definitely one of my favorite collections we’ve put together so far.

And yes… those sealed 1995 figures are as cool as they look 😂

Okay, who else had these?! 😭

The second I saw these McDonald’s McDino Changeables again, I was instantly a kid.

I LOVED these things. You’d get what looked like a Big Mac, fries, a milkshake, a Happy Meal box… and then start folding pieces out and suddenly it was a dinosaur. 😂

Happy Meal toys just hit different back then. You actually wanted to go to McDonald’s because you HAD to see which toy you were getting. And somehow these little things ended up mixed in with all your “real” toys at home.

We just added a bunch of original McDino Changeables to the shop, and these are pure childhood nostalgia for me.

If you grew up around this time, I know somebody out there remembers these.

Which one did you have? 👀
