Over the past few years, we have been blessed to work with a great team of “Helpers,” who allowed us to keep our family in their home and as independent as they wanted to be.
Just this past fall, a family member mentioned a great idea of having a “Helper” service to spread these blessings to other families in our community.
When we talked about these ideas, our Memmy loved them and urged us to run with the idea - and Memmy’s Helpers was born.
We offer a wide variety of services—both those that we found necessary to care for our loved ones and some that we have heard of as needed by others.
Not only can we assist you with the items listed on our flyers, but let us know what else could help, and we will work on tackling that item as well.
We will be offering a weekly care package on top of services to allow one of our Helpers to go by and check on your loved ones. These packages can be as frequent as daily—all the way to once a week. We found this service so valuable for our family to ensure our loved one was checked on in person and any needs were addressed.
In addition, one of our main worries as a family was making sure that information was related correctly to and from their medical professionals. Oftentimes we are unable to attend appointments with our loved ones due to location, work schedules and previous commitments, Having a Helper attend the appointment with your loved one allows you to send questions to the provider, obtain information from the provider, note any medication changes and report back to you to ensure that you receive complete and accurate information. A Helper can also assist with tele-health visits if those are appropriate.
Being able to be independent is one of the greatest desires of our older loved ones - let us help you to help them with that through these supportive services.
