It’s almost candle season again!!!

We’re still waiting to see if our 3 plus gallons of Fireside Flannel arrive. All of our 100s of 4oz, 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz jars are in and our soy wax will be in in just about 3 weeks (weather permitting because it’s coming straight from the farm and soy melts at lower temperatures).

We’ll also have a limited run of our large glass 2 and 3 wick pumpkin jar candles in Pumpkin Apple Butter for September and October only this year, as well as our 16oz skully mason jars in Harvest Moon.

All but 4 of our washcloths sold today. I will try to ramp up making them around the rest of my schedule and building up stock of our fall and winter candles and wax melts.

Good Morning Friends,

As many of you who have been following us even from before our rebranding know that this is our best seller scent. July is when we start to get our larger wholesale orders for fall and winter.
Unfortunately, for the last couple years, this scent has not been available because The Flaming Candle Company made some major changes to their business model, which really affected many small businesses (us included) as you can see here they still are not offering reasonable sizes.

So as of yesterday, I purchased 25 pounds of this oil. This is going to be well over 3 gallons of oil. I only need about 100 ounces to complete my fall and winter orders this year.

Starting next month when we have our site back up, I will be selling the hundreds of ounces of oil I do not need. I will be offering 8 ounce and 16 ounce sizes for the exact same price that you would have gotten it from the flaming candle.

I have reached out multiple times to ask them “if you have 25 pounds of oil why can’t you sell me 100 ounces of that” I received zero response, so I made the choice to make the unnecessary purchase of 25 pounds in order to not lose any more business. Not having this sent available to me for the last few years has cost me thousands of dollars in losses and customers that moved on.

It is always a shame when customers blame you for not being able to meet their needs when it really is the suppliers you have counted on for several years not coming through or even answering your questions. 

If you are a small business and need this oil sooner, please reach out to me here. This is supposed to be delivered as of next week, but I will not hold my breath as I said since their change in business model, they has not been a reliable supplier.

I will let you know if this does not show up as I will also be letting my bank know that I require a charge back for fraud on this purchase.
