Time for a chalkboard refresh! 🙌🏼✨

One of the coolest things about Chalk Paste is that once it’s dry, it STAYS put. I can rub my hands all over it and it doesn’t smudge or budge. 👏🏼

But when I’m ready to switch things up? Just add water, grab my Board Eraser and scrub it right off! 💦 Then I’m back to a clean slate and ready for a brand new design. 😍

Come hike OUT of Havasupai with me! 🥾🏜️🙌🏼

We carried our 30 lb packs down into the canyon… but after 4 days and LOTS of miles, we happily let the mules carry them back out. 😂 Best decision ever.

We left the lodge at 3:30am to beat the heat, and since it took us 4 hours 10 minutes to hike down, we fully expected the climb out to take longer.

Except V and I decided we were going to BEAT our time. 😂 And we were BOOKING IT.

A few quick breaks, some wild horses jumping out of the bushes 😳, bats flying around us in the dark 🦇… and then those brutal switchbacks at the very end. 🫠 We just kept cheering each other on all the way to the tippy top.

And somehow I still had enough energy to RUN the last little bit and throw in a celebration jump. 😂🙌🏼 I was SO HYPE.

47 miles in 4 days. 🥾
All the waterfalls. 🩵
The Confluence. 🙌🏼
And one seriously unforgettable adventure.

Havasupai… you were AMAZING. 🏜️🩵 If you’ve ever thought about going… GO! Put it on your bucket list. You won’t regret it. 🙌🏼

One last hike before we said goodbye to Havasupai and started the climb back out of the canyon! 🥾🏜️

Checked Navajo Falls off the list. 🩵 Getting there meant hiking past Hidden Falls and up through the creek. The water felt SO refreshing. 😍

So happy we were able to hike to all the falls while we were there. What an adventure! 🥾🩵

Come hike to the CONFLUENCE with me! 🥾🏜️🩵

20 MILES. 12 HOURS. And easily one of the hardest and coolest things I’ve ever done. 🙌🏼

We left the lodge at 5:30am and didn’t get back until 5:30pm. And those 20 miles definitely weren’t just a casual walk through the canyon. 😂

We climbed down Mooney Falls… which was TERRIFYING for me 😳 … navigated the sketchy ladders around Beaver Falls, scrambled over rocks and made our way through 14 creek crossings just to get there… and then another 14 on the way back. 😅

But eventually… WE MADE IT TO THE CONFLUENCE!! 🙌🏼

The spot where that gorgeous turquoise Havasu Creek meets the Colorado River. 🩵🤎 And seeing it right now was especially wild. With the recent flash flooding in the Grand Canyon, the Colorado was carrying so much sediment and debris, making the contrast between the two waters even more dramatic. It was SO neat to see in person.

We took a quick break, soaked it all in… and then realized we still had TEN MILES to get back. 😂🥾

By the time we finally made it to the lodge at 5:30pm, my body was DONE.

But I DID IT. 🥹🙌🏼

Twenty miles through the Grand Canyon. 12 hours on my feet. Water crossings, ladders, waterfalls, climbs and some moments that definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone.

This hike is certainly no easy task, and I’m just so dang proud that my body was strong enough to carry me there AND all the way back. 🥹🩵

What. A. DAY.

Come chase waterfalls in Havasupai with me. 🥾🩵 We’re off to check out Fifty Foot Falls!

After hiking down into the canyon, we dropped our packs, rested for a bit and somehow convinced our tired legs to keep going. 😂

And THIS is what was waiting for us. 😍 Absolutely worth every. single. step.

Day one in Havasupai did NOT disappoint. 🩵 Can’t wait to explore even more tomorrow!

8.1 miles + 4 hours later… WE MADE IT!! 😍

And let me tell you… we have NEVER been more thankful that we booked the lodge. The extra $$ was SO worth it. 😂🙌🏼 Everything aches, my shoulders are ON FIRE from carrying 30 lbs down into the canyon, and immediately laying down on that bed has never felt so good. 🤣

We rested for a bit, headed to the cafe for some lunch, and now we’re off to the FALLS!! 😍

The day isn’t over yet… Havasupai, we’re coming for you! 🩵🥾🏜️
