This collaboration has been 3 years in the works. I want to official announce my brother from a different family, Emilio Torres, as our driver and team partner for the may 9th race in Tucson for KT100. He will be on the legend chassis, Assassin tire prep, YOA powered KT100. Emilio comes from one the most respected kart racing families from AZ and beyond. He will pilot the 07SB (Scott Bohle). Also joining us for wrenching on all Hooper Racing karts and helping the next generation of drivers!

First race of the season is complete. Always great to have Scott Basset over for KT. He decided to join UAS and tag in his KT. He ended up third with the natural race flow of UAS.

Travis got the win in UAS, because of schedule typo tonight was not a 1/4 point UAS event. James Scott-Lopez got the win in JR1 followed by Murphy in second. Brantley got his first podium in JrJr, I won’t let a part failure ruin his main event next time.

Hooper racing is branching into a new area of racing, Desert Off Road with SADRA. Looking for sponsorship to run the Point to Point with SADRA September 24/25 2026. The plan is to run 1600 with Brent McKee racing. Crew chief Dave Anderson, Pit chief Jessy Jeffers, looking for sponsorship for an absolute bucket list event for Travis Hooper. This is a race that my Father Tony Hooper raced multiple times when I was a in diapers.

This will be No Respect Racing 2.0 in honor of Larry Dimmet. He was absolutely one of the most supporting GENTLEMEN in my life with racing.

Tucson Kart Club’s 2 day show is in the rear view mirror. Congrats to all the winners.

Hooper racing had a great weekend. Taking home 3 wins, 7 podiums in the 4 divisions, 7 main events ran with 8 Hooper Racing supported drivers. Congrats to James Scott-Lopez, Elijah Madrigal and Travis Hooper taking home wins in JR1 clone, Outlaw Lo206 and UAS. We had great speed in all entries. Close racing and lots of fun.
