What a great REB Monthly Meeting at Flix Brewhouse!

A huge thank you to Zach and Chance and the entire Flix Brewhouse staff for hosting us and keeping everyone happy with great beer, endless popcorn, and some awesome glassware to take home.

We also welcomed our new board members and shared a few updates about changes to the board as we look ahead to another great year.

Members were reminded about the upcoming Lawn Mower Beer Challenge, our internal competition to brew a light-colored beer with an ABV under 5.5%. The winning recipe will be scaled up and brewed at BIG in Norman.

There aren't many photos from the evening because everyone was too busy enjoying great beer and even better conversation. We'd call that a successful meeting!

Today, At Learn To Brew, Garrett brewed 40 versions of a SMASH beer using a unique hop in each version. This experiment was done to allow everyone to experience the different characteristics of each hop. Thank you to Mike Oliver for taking these pics! C. Burleson :)

Spring Brew Off 2026 is in the books! Congrats to The Bru Club for getting SBO Club of The Year. Congratulations to BOS Beer: Ryan Mac (The Bru Club) & BOS Mead/Cider: Ryan Rose (816 Pack). I also want to give a Huge Thanks to REB’s Competition Coordinator, Sean McCanne!! This is his last year & REB has gotten where they are because of his Vision and Hard Work to make our competitions run more smoothly!!!!
