Our May Monthly meeting will be Wednesday of this week, May 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Challenger N-Scale.



We’ll talk about our ongoing progress on our “off-season” maintenance projects.


Please scroll down to take a look at the list of projects. Please pay close attention to the projects using red text and highlighted in yellow or orange. Those projects are among the highest priority. At the meeting on Wednesday night, we need to figure out where to start, when to start and who can help as we begin to work our way down the list.


We’ll also talk very briefly about Muskogee Railroad Days which has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 1, in Muskogee. It was postponed and rescheduled due to the threat of heavy rain on the day of the event (which happened). This event is not a train show. Rather, it’s an annual public outreach event at the Three Rivers Museum at 220 Elgin Street, in Muskogee.


For those participating in Muskogee Railroad Days:



We’ll take five total modules, and we’ll transport them in our private vehicles.


We’ll meet at the store at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 31, to load our cars.


We’ll each drive to Muskogee and meet at the Museum at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, to set up.


The Museum opens at 10 a.m. and the event runs until 2 p.m.—so we’ll have four hours of fun running our trains!


When the museum closes at 2 p.m., we’ll tear down, load up, and bring everything back to the store and unload by around 4 p.m.
