Stuffed with Character

Wanted to let my Monster Bash Convention pals know that I will not be attending next week's October Bash 😕 So if you were thinking of picking up a creepy cuddly pal - send me a PM and we can work something out!

I have the following figures available and ready to board the Demeter (or the nearest USPS vehicle - they're not too picky!) to their new home. All prices include US shipping

Morticia and Gomez Addams - $50 for the pair
$40 each: Godzilla, Cthulhu, Frankenbear (two available) , Sasquatch, Yeti
$35 each: Mothman (black and Rosy Maple version), Bat, Dracula, Bub the Zombie

Discounts are available if you request multiple figures!

All set up at the Crawfordsville Cards Comics 'n Toys SUPER SHOW - if you're in the west central Indiana area - come out out to this FREE show and say hi!

For today's edition of Friday IDE day - I'm sharing my latest commission!
Inspiration: The Grand Duke of Owls from the animated film Rock-A-Doodle
Design - I wanted to capture the details of his face in particular, as well as the weighty feel of his body.
Ex*****on: He didn't turn out quite as menacing as in my drawing, unfortunately, but his wings are posable thanks to wires sewn inside and the straws in his legs let him lean up against a wall.

With Spooky Season just around the corner, this Friday IDE-day I'm spotlighting horror hosts.
Inspiration: The legendary Elvira, Chicagoland's Svengoolie and Indiana's Sammy Terry
Design: I worked to keep the iconic elements of each character while adapting their look to my style.
Ex*****on: I'm pleased with the way all three came out - both Svengoolie's and Sammy's makeup and Elvira's generous ... beehive (what did you think I was going to say?)

I do have two commissions open for October - these figures (as well as most of my other designs) are $35 each or two for $60, which includes US shipping. Custom design requests (the Sven Squad or your local horror host, perhaps?) start at $40.

Shout out to some of my favorite fellow weirdos: That's Terri-IFIC, House Of Silent Graves and Sangue Di Drago!!

making purchases from makers and creatives isn’t just about spending money…
although that sure does help us 🩷
it’s the support of what we’re doing.

there aren’t as many weirdos out there making art and showing up at markets and craft fairs.

it’s not easy.
it’s freaking hard.
it’s long hours.
it’s the cost of supplies.

we can’t compete with big box stores.
we can’t compete with mass produced trash.

what we can do, is our best.
we can keep going.
we can keep showing up.
we can hope for the best.

I’m so grateful that I have the support of so many.
I’m grateful you show up for me.
I’m grateful for the kindness.
I’m grateful for the purchases.
I’m grateful for your patience.

if you get a chance, support a local weirdo out there making art. I promise you that even the tiniest purchase makes a huge difference. xox

Welcome to my new followers coming over from the Sammy Terry page ... or wherever else you found me. 😁
With the Halloween season nearly upon us -- or already here, depending on your point of view -- I wanted to revisit my We Belong Stuffed photo album that showcases my spooky and monstrous creations - as well as the progress I've made over the years!
