Yesterday was such a blast!!!! Kids Fest was wonderful!!!! Sure were a lot of happy littles running around!!! And that Guns vs Hoses game?!? The firefighters walked away with the W!!! And Movies in the Park was a nice way to wind down the weekend. Thank you to all who came out and supported these amazing events!!! 🤸‍♀️🏰👮‍♂️👨‍🚒🎬

Game begins at 6!!!! 🥎🥎🥎

Eli will be slinging ice in the kiosk and will obviously be wearing RED! (Did you know he is in school to be a firefighter?! 🚒) But no matter who you are rooting for this is most definitely going to be a good time!!! 🎉🥳🎉

After a couple of days of well earned R&R, we are back at it again!!! Lake days are the best days and after a full season last year of not spending one day together at our family cabin, we just got in TWO!! 🥰 Check the comments for a pic of my pig of a walleye I caught! 🎣

The truck is on its way to Park Point Beach for a few hours and then headed to Wednesday Night at the Races in Proctor!!

It's the final day of Fisherman's Picnic and boy, are our hearts full!!! This event is amazing through and through!!! So many things to see, so many things to do!!! 🧡🐟🧡🐟

Our favs from yesterday were:
#1 Cutest Puppy Contest (every pup there, old and young, were the cutest ever!)🐕
#2 Loon Calling Contest (there were some very young folks that ROCKED this!!!!)😙
#3 Rock Skipping Contest (I have a long way to go to have the expertise of some of these skippers!!) 🪨

And let's not forget getting to see so many beautiful, familiar faces!!! 😍

Today's highlights include:
The PARADE at 1pm! 🥳
The Fish Toss at 3pm (soooo many people asking about this yesterday!!! Should be a super fun time!)🐟
And do not forget, the grand prize drawing for $10,000 at 5:15!!!!! 🏆

Take that pretty drive up the shore today and join in on this wonderful event!!! The Grand Marais Lions Club obviously puts a LOT of hard work and dedication for this whole shindig and it is well worth the travel!!!! So be like our besties and make a day of it! 😘
