Cynthia Hyatt is not just a survivor but an overcomer of fourth-stage cancer. Her continual proclamation is, “I’m a living, breathing, walking, talking, singing, testifying miracle of God!”

She writes, penning her journey through many challenging and difficult life experiences, as well as the storm of disease, sharing how the Lord has carried her through troubles and struggles, years of sexual abuse as a child, r**e as a teenager, an abusive marriage, su***de attempts, and deep hurts and heartaches.

The mother of three adult children and seven grown grandchildren, she’s been in ministry for fifty years of her seven decades of life.

Along with her husband, she pastors a small church in Texas. A storyteller by nature and a writer by grace, she helps others by sharing stories that undoubtedly speak of the goodness and faithfulness of God.

Geena Hymer is a mental health writer, wounded healer, and child of God. She is currently writing her first memoir about her recovery from years of binge eating disorder and suicidality. A transparent, honest, and empathetic podcast guest and speaker, Geena lives her purpose by helping teen girls and women struggling with past trauma break free from damaging food habits, shed their armor of protection, and stop the cycle of being physically and spiritually malnourished. Through her writing and speaking, she helps others feel truly seen, heard, and validated in their pain—while offering prayers and practical guidance for their journey toward healing and wholeness of mind, body, and soul.

Megan Huffman lives in Grand Prairie, Texas—though most days, her heart still feels at home in Boise, Idaho. Over the years, she has published poems, novellas, and short stories in a variety of anthologies and magazines, and she is currently working on her forthcoming solo project.

Megan’s journey as a writer has been strengthened through her connection to a community of like-minded believers who understand both the beauty and the burden of sharing stories that matter. Staying rooted in a circle of writers who encourage, pray for, and inspire one another has reminded her God often speaks through our words—especially when we’re brave enough to use them.

Her writing is known for being authentic, emotionally honest, and sometimes a little long-winded, but always heartfelt. She believes stories shape us and reveal the character of God in ways nothing else can. Whether her words are tidy or raw, Megan strives to write truth that points to God’s presence in the everyday moments—the messy, the meaningful, and everything in between.
