The smell of banana bread baking in the oven has to be one of the coziest things about the fall season.

Over the weekend I made mini loaves to share with family and neighbors. Easy and delicious!

Today I’m sharing my favorite from-scratch recipe made with our fresh-milled flour. It’s perfect for using up those ripe bananas sitting on the counter!

Our Fresh-milled flour, ripe bananas and simple pantry ingredients are all you need.

Find the recipe in comments.

Now tell me: Are you team NUTS or NO NUTS in your banana bread?

And if you’ve been wanting to try our fresh-milled flour in your baking, send me a message! I’d love to help you get started.

Just a note about the AI Content….I edited out my plant!! For some reason it just looked creepy here-lol. I will show in comments.

Well hello again everyone!
You know it’s been a while. I decided to take the summer off to focus on our children, being fully present and spending quality time making memories. Let me tell you we have done just that!
Now that summer has come to an end I realized it was time to pop back in and say hi.

The heart behind The Healthy Pantry hasn’t changed. I still love helping families stock their homes with simple, wholesome pantry staples and products. Thank y’all for still being here!

Here’s to the cozy season, fresh starts, and stocking healthy homes naturally!

Tell me, what is one thing you are looking forward to baking or making this fall?

Also, I’m sharing this pic of our girls from when they were little because we have always enjoyed fall together as well.

Question to gauge interest.
Would anyone be interested in me offering homemade tortillas made with our organic fresh milled flour.

What about freshly made pizza dough? I make the dough and you roll out and bake on pizza nights?

I know many of you want bread but I have to be honest with all we have going that’s not an option currently. Life is busy and I seldom get to make it for my own family.

For a long time now, well meaning people have suggested we “fancy up” our labels and packaging. Just the other day the subject was once again brought up.

From a marketing perspective I understand the importance of labels and packaging. I myself am drawn to them, so I get it completely! I have even looked into other options. But those options equal passing costs off to our customers.

But here’s the thing, our goal as a family is to invest in our products! Meaning, what’s inside the package rather than what the outside looks like.

We are committed to nourishing your homes with wholesome, thoughtfully made products!

We do this by putting our money into all organic and natural ingredients because at the end of the day this is what truly matters. We will choose high-quality ingredients over fancy labeling any day!

So until we come across a money tree to “fancy up” our labeling we are keeping it simple and I will continue to print them at home😊.

I’m hoping that’s okay. ❤️

I was asked this question yesterday upon making a delivery. Read on for the answer and a tip to revive your fresh milled bread.

Remember there are no dumb questions and I love trying to answer all questions.

Yes! Baked goods made with our organic fresh milled flour are going to have a shorter “shelf life” compared to something made with store bought flour.

The reason is our fresh milled flour is just that….only flour….nothing added and nothing taken away. There are no added preservatives to keep it fresher longer but remember you’re getting all the nutrients and that amazing flavor!

So what do you do if your bread goes stale? Here is a tip.

Take your bread loaf and get it completely wet by running it under water in your kitchen sink.
Next, place in your 350 degree oven for around 15 minutes.
You will have a completely revived loaf of bread!

Hope this helps!
