If you are going to the Racine County Fair this year make sure to stop by the the Historical Racine Mercantile Hall on site.

You can find the History Seekers of the Union Grove Area and Oak Clearings Farm & Museum displays in the Mercantile.

You can chat with all of the local historians who are dedicated in preserving our local histories. Someone will always be on site in the building to answer questions and guide you through the history displays.

Union Grove History Seekers are always actively looking for new members. Especially from our younger generations. If this is something that interests you make sure to ask about membership as well.

It was a beautiful Father's Day event at Oak Clearing Farm & Museum. Thank you for stopping out and spending your day with us.

The museum is now open by appointment. We welcome larger groups of all ages for tours until the snow flies.

If Jerry is on site during one of our barn sales, you might even get a special one on one behind the scenes tour.

With that in mind, Hags & Hagglers next Barn Sale at Oak Clearings Farm is Saturday, June 27th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

That same day, you can visit both the Union Grove Flea Market and the Farm Breakfast at the Racine County Fairgrounds before heading our way.

Just watch for the red Barn Sale signs. More information in the comments.

🔥 Today is the day!

Fire n Smoke, LLC is the featured food truck this year out of Waterford WI.

Their brick and mortar in Waterford has a soft opening July 10th with a grand opening announcement to follow.

We are wishing them all the best on this new brick & mortar adventure and we are happy to have their food truck with us today on the farm.

Step back in time and enjoy a self guided tour of our open air museum, featuring volunteers in period clothing, living history demonstrations, and hands on glimpses into Racine Wisconsin's past.

Admission is FREE and open to the public.

Upon arrival, drive in and park on top of the hill.

Your self guided tour begins in the Fanning Mill Room before winding down through the grounds at your own pace.

Explore:
• The 1900s Functioning Blacksmith Shop (Ye Old Forge) • The Barber Shop • The Tool Room • The Woodworking Room • The Water Works • The Bottle Room • The Rose Calendar House.

🔥 This year's food truck is Fire N Smoke out of Waterford WI, serving authentic Southern style BBQ.
