The Olive Free Library also houses a Local History Museum and Special Collections that make it an important memory-keeper for the Town and its community.
PLUS: a full calendar of programs for kids, adults and seniors that include local history, arts & culture, music performances, ongoing art exhibitions, craft and clothing swaps, and more. The Library is also a place where you can get by-donation/low-cost photocopies, printing and notary services.
And—aside from yoga and tai chi classes and the occasional fundraising event—every single thing that happens here at the library is FREE. Anyone in the community can come here and be welcome, and not have to spend a single red cent—ever.
At a time when everyone is feeling the pinch, the library is here to give you access to all of these tangible resources, as well as the intangible resource of your own imagination.
Don't have a library card? Haven't been here ever? Or in a long time? We would love to see you! Here at the Olive Free Library, or at our new Shokan Branch at the American Legion Hall.
