Thought I would put together this reel of highlights from the past 5 weeks of Insta sales! While I will revisit this again in our off season, I’ve come to realize that creating another business that will take so much consistency over a long period of time is just not possible while I’m pouring effort into shows/products that I’ve already spent years building. I’ll always be a fan of trying new things, it’s how you evolve, but I’m also trying to be better at recognizing my limits. It’s a hard thing to do for an overachiever with FOMO! So here I am - 2 weeks before our first show of the most chaotic season with a trailer full of product that still needs to be processed, jewelry to be made, and silver to be polished. Let the 14 hour days commence✨✨✨

So what would you have grabbed??? I took the grape pattern glasses to pour candles in and the sweet silver plate Christmas bowl this day. I SO wanted the fishbowl but out of my price range (you can’t have everything)! And btw… this sweet shop is in Newport, TN where they are doing a great revitalization to the downtown. I mean where else will you find an antique store named Roscoe’s? 😊😊

I pulled a beautiful compote from this collection for Friday’s sale and realized I never shared “the find”! I was strolling through a local mall in May and there it was…a gorgeous and delicate French Haviland Limoges set of dishes complete with the sweetest butter pats, salt cellars and serving dishes. And the colors… a beautiful green with the darkest pink that almost reads red. I couldn’t get it wrapped up fast enough. What is it about beautiful tableware??? Is it just me??

I live on 80 acres on the river in the middle of NOWHERE! It’s a min of 30 minutes in any direction to the nearest anything. Soooooo… if I’m going to town, I’m gonna make it worth it! What was your favorite find on this trip?? I really love the abalone shell trivet and the sailboat bell🤍🤍

I’m a slow curator… I love organizing my shelves by themes or color ways, adding pieces over time as I plan for shows. I’ve never been someone who likes to pull together a booth on the fly. Don’t get me wrong, I can do it and have, but it’s not my preference. Part of the satisfaction for me is to bring the image I’ve had in my head for months to fruition. Inviting YOU into a space that is intentional and inspiring. This Fall is going to be EPIC - the shelves are already overflowing and we’re building more. Thank you for following along!✨✨
