352 days without my dad, moments like this remind me that his impact didn't end with his life.

A photo of us at the store when I was less than 1 year old.

A woman walked into the store who was only in town for 24 hours. She made it a point to stop in because she had found this photo - one she'd held onto for 35 years.

She worked for my parents when she was a teenager, tucked this picture away all those years ago, and when she found it again, she knew exactly where it belonged. She placed it in my hands, and just like that, I was holding a moment I never knew still existed.

It amazes me how the people whose lives my dad touched continue to give pieces of them back to me. Nearly a year later, moments like this remind me that my dad's legacy didn't end with him.
