It all started with a teenage newspaper seller outside a busy Detroit sweet shop…

Our family has been making fudge on Mackinac Island for four generations, but the story began long before that. Sweet Family Stories shares the people, memories and moments that shaped Ryba’s Fudge, including a teenage newspaper seller who caught Harry Ryba’s attention and eventually became part of the family.

And to think, without one newspaper corner, there might not be a fourth generation working here today. Stay tuned because our family story only gets sweeter! 💕
