Hi friends! I’m Cassie — the creator behind Hippie Heathen AZ and a proud member of the Briar Patch Marketplace team. Not only do I get to help create the social media content you see here, but I also get to be part of this incredible community of makers, dreamers, and small‑business magic. It’s truly the best of both worlds.

🎨 At my booth, Hippie Heathen AZ, you’ll find a colorful mix of pop‑culture, anime, and fandom‑inspired goodies — vibrant graphic bags (big and small!), trendy claw clips, handcrafted simplistic nerdy coasters, and so many pins from all kinds of fandoms. My booth is bright, fun, and full of good vibes… a little corner of joy I love sharing with all of you.

💛 Being part of Briar Patch Marketplace fills me with so much gratitude. This community is welcoming, supportive, and full of heart. Getting to work alongside these amazing vendors — and also stand beside them as a vendor myself — is something I cherish deeply.

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Gigi’s Soapery, a vendor we’ve had the absolute privilege of working with for many seasons. Gigi’s Soapery has become a beloved part of our Briar Patch family, and it’s easy to see why.

From stunning, handmade soaps that are as beautiful and colorful as they are nourishing (and smell amazing), to a full line of body care favorites — think shower steamers, bath bombs, body lotions, and more — every product is crafted with care, intention, and so much love.

And let’s not forget the most glamorous lip gloss line, perfectly packaged in the most stunning bottles — a true showstopper at the market ✨

Behind it all is the fabulous Pamela, who is an absolute joy to chat with. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about her craft, and pours heart and good energy into everything she creates. Once you try Gigi’s Soapery, we can confidently say — you’ll be a returning customer.

Meet Vera Manuz, Jeannie’s sister and the designer and creative mind behind The Patch’s magical displays. Vera transforms products into fantastical spaces that are inviting and delightful at every turn.
At our beloved holiday event, she creates a Christmas wonderland so enchanting you’ll feel transported to the North Pole. Her eye for design turns every corner into something special.
But Vera’s talents don’t stop at design—she’s also a picker with an incredible knack for finding unique treasures. From stunning handmade quilts to vintage kitchenware and fabulous furniture finds, she creates a true treasure trove that’s endlessly fun to explore.
Vera is also the voice behind “Vera’s View,” our event newsletter that gives you insider info on who will be there, what’s happening, and how to get help. True to her community spirit, she always includes her phone number—because Vera believes in being there for you.
From design magic to treasure hunting to keeping our community connected, Vera brings creativity and heart to everything she does at The Patch.
