I’ve spent so much of my life searching for the road I’m supposed to be on—trying to figure out who I’m supposed to be and what I’m supposed to do with this life.

And somewhere along the way, the world convinced me that I needed more.

More purpose.
More ambition.
Another job. Another title. Another lane that belonged only to me.

Because surely motherhood couldn’t be “just it.”

But lately, I’ve found myself asking…

What if?

What if motherhood is the purpose I need in this season?

What if motherhood is the pursuit my heart wants most right now?

The future still holds so much. There will be time for other dreams, other opportunities, and other pieces of me to unfold. I can add those things later.

But right now—right here, in this little chapter of our lives—what if this is enough?

What if I want the slow mornings with them?

What if I want the “extra” holidays, the ordinary Tuesdays, the little traditions, the conversations in the car, the messes in the kitchen, and all the tiny moments that no one else will ever understand the value of quite like I do?

What if the world is wrong…

and my heart is right?

What if motherhood, for me, is ENOUGH?

I spent so much time believing I needed to find myself somewhere outside of being their mama. But maybe I wasn’t lost at all.

Maybe I was becoming exactly who I was meant to be.

And I’ve finally reached a place where I don’t need the world to understand that.

Maybe this life isn’t “enough” by the world’s standards. Maybe raising my babies, pouring into our home, and building a childhood they’ll someday look back on with warmth doesn’t come with the kind of title the world celebrates.

But I just don’t care anymore.

Because at the end of the day, my heart isn’t asking the world whether I’m enough.

It cares about what these two little babies think when they look at me.

And to them, I am enough.

I’m more than enough.

I’m their sun, and they are my entire universe.

And for this season of my life, I don’t need to search for a greater purpose. God has given me my purpose—motherhood.

I’m already living it.
♥️ with a grateful heart,
Brandi

How do I know when God is calling me to do something?

I’ve been thinking about this question a lot lately. And as I sit with it, I find myself making a little list in my head—almost anxiously, but in the very best way. The kind of anticipation that comes when you feel God stirring something in your heart.

So, how do I recognize a calling from God?

1. First and foremost: Does it glorify Him?
God will never call us toward something that pulls us away from Him or contradicts who He is. This will always be the first “check” on my list. Before anything else, I want to ask: Will this point people toward Jesus? Will this honor Him?

2. There is a desire you simply cannot shake.
It may begin as a small thought, but it grows into a passion—a fire in your heart that keeps drawing you back. In today’s language, we might even call it an obsession. But there is something different about it. It feels purposeful.

3. The thought remains.
It doesn’t disappear when the excitement wears off. It continues to return to your heart and mind. You pray about it, set it aside, go about your day—and somehow, there it is again.

4. It requires faith—and often, sacrifice.
A calling doesn’t always come with a perfectly laid-out plan. Sometimes God asks us to move before we can see where the road leads. It may require our time, our comfort, our resources, or our courage. And yet, alongside that sacrifice comes a faith that is difficult to measure or explain.

And with all of that being said…

I believe God is calling me to write.

So, I’m starting something that has been growing in my heart:

A place where I can share thoughts, songs, testimonies, writings, lessons from motherhood, and the things God places on my heart.

I don’t know exactly what this will become.

But I know I’m supposed to begin.

And sometimes obedience isn’t knowing the entire plan—it’s simply having enough faith to take the first step.

So today, I’ll leave you with the same question I’ve been asking myself:

What is God calling you to do? 🤍

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, believing that You are still the Great Physician. Your Word declares that nothing is impossible for You, and today I place every hurt, every illness, every burden, and every broken place into Your loving hands.

Lord Jesus, I ask for Your healing power to flow through the body, mind, heart, and soul of who is reading this.
Touch every area that needs restoration. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is sickness, bring healing. Where there is fear, replace it with Your perfect peace.

Father, I thank You that Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and I trust that You are working even when I cannot see it. Give me the faith to stand on Your promises, the patience to wait on Your timing, and the courage to keep praising You through every season.

Heal not only me, Lord, but also my family, my friends, and all who are suffering today. Let Your presence fill hospital rooms, homes, and hearts with hope. Remind every weary soul that they are never alone because You walk beside them.

Forgive me where I have doubted, and help me to keep my eyes fixed on You. Fill me with the joy of the Holy Spirit and let my life be a testimony of Your goodness, mercy, and unfailing love.

No matter what tomorrow holds, I choose to trust You. I believe that You are my refuge, my strength, and my healer. I receive Your peace, Your comfort, and Your grace, knowing that Your will is perfect and Your love never fails.

I give You all the honor, all the glory, and all the praise.

In the powerful, holy, and matchless name of Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen

Homeschool Newbie sharing time.

Not all of our experiences in public school were bad. We had met some really great people over the years. One of those being, Mr. Casto, Luke’s 1st grade teacher.
This was his chart, that he provided to his students/families.

“Map it Out”
I use this a lot for spelling words, sight words and (especially) digraph phonic words.
Like:
L-OO-K
ST-R-EE-T
F-EE-T
CH-AL-K
It’s been very helpful with sh, ch, sh, th, silent E, vowel teams and the vowels!
It has became a staple, a great tool that I found very helpful. It’s perfect for those of us who need some repetition.

Here is a sample for you!

We are also happy to send you a video or link on how to use it.
