Memberships are available for the Hunt Club at Deep Bottom Plantation. This 900 acre plantation, just east of Ruffin SC, is approximately 1-hr from Charleston, Columbia, and Savannah. The property is mostly large pine and hardwood swamp. Deep Bottom swamp runs through the middle of the property. There are several gated access points to the 11 miles of roads on the property. Two power lines cross the property. The neighboring property is similar with abundant wildlife.
The club only accepts 10 members total. Memberships are $2500/member annually. Members may bring one guest per day. The membership year is July 1 of the current year to June 30 of the following year. Pro-rated memberships to join mid-season are possible when available.
This property has been trophy managed for deer the last 12+years. There are approximately 18 club stands available and 10+ corn feeders on site. Still hunting for deer only, no dogs. We also have lots of turkeys on the property. In addition, there is numerous small game including wood ducks when the swamp floods.
NO WORK DAYS are required of members. The planting, club stands, etc., are maintained by owners.
There is a recently remodeled 1080 sq ft cabin with 1.5 baths with a full kitchen and bunk beds available for member use.
