Wandering small rural communities, country back-roads and by-ways, and stopping, supporting, and engaging with people along the way is what this page is all about. Bringing awareness to the small businesses and organizations that make up rural Iowa is our focus. The backbone of our communities are the mom-and-pop operations, the Indie artist/crafter, farm to table enthusiasts and more. Help me in promoting these businesses and individuals that make our communities unique, strong and the heart and soul of our daily living. Communities in this focus area are: Cumming, Norwalk, Carlisle, Hartford, Indianola, Milo, Lacona, New Virginia, Martensdale, St. Mary's and areas in between and around.

Welcome another brand-new stop to the tour... by Bailey Farms!

Harpors is the second beautiful Bailey Farms Barn and Venue location.... it's located about 20 miles south of Indianola on Hwy 69, close to Hickory Hills Park.

Eden Ridge Acres is a regenerative family farm in Prole with over 20 years of experience growing food for their family. Nearly a decade of that has been dedicated to growing and raising food for other local families.
