🌸 Salmon-pink on the outside, golden-yellow in the center—‘Soft Salmon Joy’ is anything but ordinary!

Paeonia lactiflora ‘Soft Salmon Joy’ produces distinctive anemone-form flowers with broad salmon-pink guard petals surrounding a full, feathery golden-yellow center. The combination gives each bloom wonderful texture and warm color.

Its compact 28–33" height makes it easy to work into the middle of a sunny perennial border or cutting garden. Try pairing it with creamy whites, soft yellows, lavender, or blue-flowering perennials to complement those salmon tones.

🌸 Three colors on one peony? ‘Julia Rose’ knows how to put on a show!

Paeonia Itoh ‘Julia Rose’ produces large 6–7" semi-double flowers that change color as they mature—opening soft apricot, developing reddish-purple tones, and eventually fading to pastel yellow. Because the flowers open at different times, you can often see all three colors on the plant at once!

Growing 28–30" tall, its strong stems hold the flowers upright without staking, while deeply cut foliage keeps the plant looking handsome long after bloom time.

Try ‘Julia Rose’ in the middle of a sunny perennial border where its changing colors can mingle with purple, burgundy, cream, and soft yellow companions.

It’s officially peony season here at Fieldstone Gardens! Digging is underway and will continue over the next six weeks.

We’re processing peony orders in the order they were received, beginning with orders placed in November 2025. We know you’re excited to get them planted, and we’ll keep orders moving as quickly as possible!

🌼 Perennial Orders: Current processing time is approximately 3–6 days.

🍂 Fall has arrived in Maine, with nighttime temperatures dipping into the low 40s. Since our perennials are grown outdoors, foliage may naturally show signs of the changing season and cooler temperatures.

🌸 Old-fashioned romance, incredible fragrance, and armloads of blooms.

Paeonia lactiflora ‘Lady Alexandra Duff’ is a beautiful heirloom peony with lush double flowers opening blush pink to soft mauve-pink, then fading gracefully toward the center. And the fragrance? Sweet and wonderfully strong.

Growing about 36" tall, it’s perfect for the middle of a perennial border where its soft coloring pairs beautifully with Siberian iris, nepeta, salvia, and other early-summer favorites. Be sure to cut a few stems for indoors—the flowers are just as lovely in a vase.
