Meet the Leach family, seven generations farming Vermont's Mettowee Valley for almost 200 years.
👨🌾 👩🌾 Seth and Kate run Woodlawn Farm and Woodlawn Creamery today. Since 2015 they’ve added a Wagyu herd, opened a farm store, and now supply milk to artisan cheesemakers, including their own Woodlawn Creamery, all while keeping 120 Registered Holsteins producing top-quality milk.
👴👵 Tim and Dot raised Seth and his three siblings here. Tim grows the valley's best sweet corn and leads maple production. Dot is Mama and Grammy extraordinaire, and serves on the board of The Sunrise School in Kenya.
💫 Elle Palmer, née Leach, took a different path, raising a family and teaching school in New Hampshire. But ask her what she thinks of when she thinks of dairy, and the answer's still Vermont.
