The time has come!
Our Free Halloween Costume Closet is happening Sunday, October 25th ヘ(◕。◕ヘ)

But first, we need your old costumes!

Gather up costumes from Halloweens past and pass them along. We accept new and gently used costumes for kids and adults.

A handful of our small business neighbors have generously offered their spaces as collection sites. Drop your costumes off at any of the participating locations and we’ll take it from there!

We love seeing community members come to the Vista Library for our monthly Mending Meetup 💚

Watching neighbors connect, repair well loved clothing, share skills, and learn from one another is one of the best parts of what we do.

We’re especially grateful for our dedicated & beloved volunteers who continue to show up for our community, generously sharing their knowledge and encouraging others to try something new.

It’s always inspiring to see someone arrive with little or no mending experience and leave with new skills, more confidence, and a garment that’s ready for many more wears.
We’re not just mending clothing, we’re building confidence, solving problems together, preserving valuable skills, and helping keep textiles in circulation a little longer.

Every stitch is a small act of care for our clothes, our community, and our planet.
Thank you to everyone who joined us.

We can’t wait to see you at the next Mending Meetup! 🪡🧵✨

Come visit Good Neighbor at the Vista Strawberry Festival ₊˚⊹ ᰔ˙ ✩🍓⋆｡˚꩜

We’ll be set up in front of Milk Organics on Broadway all day from 8AM–6PM with a few special things we’ve been excited to put together for the community.

This year we’ll be hosting:
a community trinket trade
our candy bag fundraiser
surprise golden ticket prizes
and more little moments of connection throughout the day

Our trinket trade is open to everyone!!!
Bring a small pocket-sized treasure to exchange with someone else ~ seashells, crystals, charms, tiny handmade objects, stickers, mini toys, found treasures, or anything small and special that deserves a second life. We love the idea of strangers leaving with tiny reminders of one another.

We’ll also be selling fundraising candy bags to support future Good Neighbor events and projects. Even sweeter: 1 in 5 bags contains a prize ticket 🎟️

Golden ticket prizes include:
Games from The Op Games
Good Neighbor tote bags
Craft supplies from OOLY

Thank you for continuing to support our small community nonprofit and the events we’re building together. We can’t wait to spend the day with you 🍓

We’re excited to share that Good Neighbor will again be part of this year’s Vista Strawberry Festival on Sunday, May 24 from 8AM–6PM!

We’ll be hosting a booth filled with small community-centered fun, including a trinket trade, candy bag fundraiser, and a few more sweet things we’re still putting together behind the scenes. We’re really looking forward to spending the day with our community, meeting new neighbors, and celebrating one of Vista’s most beloved traditions.

Because we’ll be focusing our energy on preparing for the festival, our MONTHLY CRAFT NIGHT WILL BE CANCELLED FOR MAY. Thank you for understanding and supporting our tiny team while we pour our hearts into this event.

More details about our booth, activities, and what we’ll be bringing will be shared soon 🍓✨

We hope to see you there!

🌎🚀 April’s Craft Night was inspired by Earth Day and the Artemis II journey around the moon.

Recycled book paper, space-themed airbrush art, and a wide range of creative projects filled the room. We began our community collage while everyone found their own creative rhythm.

Different styles, different ideas, but a shared, calm energy throughout.

We’re grateful for nights like this, and for our community who keeps making them what they are.

As always, a BIG thank you to for sharing their space with us each month.
