Friends! Do we know anyone who is salvaging old clothes for projects?

I was thinking about dog toys specifically. So many companies are trying to make more and more durable ones out of new / petroleum-based products for those dogs that will shred TF out of anything. What if we just sighed and agreed that they'll destroy their toys and we start making them out of recycled natural fibers? I'd so much rather my floor be littered in, say, t-shirt scraps than the icky poly fill stuff that comes out of the ones we get at the store.

One of my junking weaknesses is little vintage juice & highball glasses. The juice glasses especially make sweet little herb vases for the counter or fridge. These fresh herbs will last for a much longer time this way, and so cute! That little round jar in the center is great, more darling and infinitely more reusable than a plastic container or baggie.

The kitten ones are from before the baby came to live with us. she came from the grandparents' neighbor who sent them along recently. Her full name is Roseanne Rosannadanna but most of the time we call her the baby or the kitten. (She's 2.5 now, btw)

Waco Independent Film Festival is just 2 weeks away! Opening night is Thursday July 17 & the main movie days are Friday & Saturday, 18-19th.
This will be my second year as volunteer staff - find me at the "box office" at . It's so much fun however you participate, but the parties are top-notch 😜

2 - sketches how she thinks her sculpture should be hung in a collector's home gallery
3 - Tamara is an arts leader in Cincy and she once came to Waco to mentor on community murals, which led to the birth of the Artprenticeship program 😍
4 - walking home from the bar after night 1 of celebrations. Bday girl with the balloons, as the turtle
5 - I left my phone behind on accident during the majority of our day, when we visited and shopped over the rhine. At our late lunch, we found monsters under the stairs
6- Roux was our host dog/leader of the pack. She is ridiculously cute & sweet, and the perfect little size, not too small, not too big.
7- the slumber party gang at the fountain on our way out for the evening
8 - is this guy famous? I saw him at dinner and he looked so familiar but I couldn't place why. He had the build of a baseball player, but the Reds were in Houston at the time 🤷

11 - my second favorite cab ride ever, Christina was there for #1 also
