The older I get, the more I realize that happiness was never about having it all. It's about having enough and being thankful for it.
Life isn't always easy. We all carry burdens, some heavier than others. But I've learned that peace doesn't come from owning more. It comes from holding on to what truly matters and letting go of what doesn't.

I am thankful for a morning cup of coffee. For a good laugh with family and friends. For a phone call from an old or distant friend. For the sound of rain, a warm meal, a quiet evening and most of all a roof over my head. These small things are the big things.

As we grow older, we don't need more stuff weighing us down. We need more time, more love, more moments that fill the heart.

So today, I'm choosing gratitude. Not for having everything, but for having what I need, the people around I love and the country and state I belonged to and live.

1Timothy 6 -8 NIV
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing we will be content with that.
