It’s time to order Garlic! I have ordered from frontier and I just ordered from territorial seeds because they had the jumbo garlic which I really like. I do have quite a few kinds of them from last year still that I will be using as well because I save it from year to year. I did buy it from an organic garlic farm and have gone to garlic festivals where you can buy lots of different varieties. When I was looking at some different companies, I found that territorial seeds has a lot of different kinds of garlic. I never realize they carried that many kinds. I have had quite a few different kinds myself, but I could never imagine how many kinds they were until I saw territorial seeds website. There are some kinds of garlic that stay fresh longer than others. We do grow hard neck in this zone and part of the country. Garlic is a very heavy feeder and it loves cow manure. I pretty much almost planted in pure cow manure that’s bagged and processed in coast of Maine lobster compost I also buy bagged. I’ll side dress with Neptune’s Harvest crab/lobster shell mix. I plant mid to late November. Usually just before we’re going to have a really hard frost. I do not sell it.

Watching eclipse and made bread (Bob’s Red Mill bread flour) to dip in my sauce. Yum!

The big ones are a pound! They were such beautiful tomatoes that I hated to cut them up! Another sauce done and will freeze a little of it. Thankful for a good harvest this year. Grow organically! No chemicals needed!

Wakefield—Today in the garden when I was cleaning, I was rewarded! Black swallowtail, monarch and the cutest little frogs! Most days (not Tuesdays) I’m available (not if raining) if you would like to stop by between 11 to 1 PM, but please message me before stopping by. ❤️🌺🦋🐝🍯
