MY RECOMMENDED BOOK OF THE WEEK…

All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker

This book widely promoted as a thriller in 2024, was more of a literary fiction novel, with elements of suspense. Literary fiction typically serves well with a book club audience as it truly provides an in-depth look at characters. You learn all about their motivations and reasons for why they take the actions they do. This book has many twists and turns and is beautifully written.

Now in stock in Wallace.

Few tragedies have rippled through North Idaho like the 2005 Groene Family murder/kidnapping. Even after escaping the clutches of a serial killer, Shasta Groene has spent 20 years fighting for her life.

Now, author Gregg Olsen is looking to shift the narrative from nothing but tragedy to hopeful for the future, with his new book Out of the Woods.
