People sometimes ask why we choose to raise money for local animal rescues and shelters through the Middle Georgia Oddities Market.
The answer is pretty simple: because we can duh! Also, animals are the best.

We built this market to celebrate weird, unusual, creative, and wonderfully strange things. We also wanted it to be something that gives back to the community that supports us.
There are so many animals in Middle Georgia that need food, medical care, foster homes, supplies, and most importantly, people willing to give them a second chance. Local rescues and shelters work incredibly hard with limited resources, and every dollar, bag of food, and donation can make a real difference.
So when you come to one of our markets and make a donation, buy something from a vendor, or bring a bag of pet food, you're helping us help them.
Our markets are weird. Our vendors are weird. Our merchandise is definitely weird. 😂
But the reason behind what we do is something we take very seriously.
We believe that being part of a community means showing up for the community and that includes the animals. And honestly? If we can bring thousands of weirdos together, have an ridiculous amount of fun, AND help some animals along the way… That's exactly the kind of weird we want to be. 🖤

Do you like weird art, Halloween, and helping animals? Then we've got the event for you!

Join us this October for our biggest market of the year! Come shop 40+ of Georgia's best oddities artists and unusual creators. They'll be selling stuff you won't find anywhere else.
As usual we will be collecting donations for a local animal rescue and we have chosen the Humane Society of Houston County for this market. Admission is just $5, or bring a donation of pet food, treats, toys, or other pet supplies for the shelter.
Bring your friends, wear your favorite spooky outfit, and spend the day supporting local artists while helping local animals.
