Goodmorning and Happy Monday my fellow rock nerds. Today is the the very first Monday ever being open and the beginning of a 7 day work week.

This week we are expecting another batch of Yindu fluorite. We just received 6ish flat worth and we are expecting another 6. With that being said, the selected old inventory of our yindu, xianghualing, yaogangxian will be 50% off. I need the space. This sale is good until this Friday the 6th.

Do you need that color contrast in your display? How about this golden Barite from Peru? The blades, the strusture, and the color is very aesthetic. When that display lights hits it; it really makes a statement of "Look at me"

One thing in my business that really messes with my head is putting size and age of things into prospective. 500 million yr old Herkimers; A shark the size of a school bus. Just think about that.

I hate making tags. I ended up getting so distracted and takes me an hour just to make 1. How can you not tho? This is a new specimen to the shop and just now I really got to look at how cool it is. I would get here soon because I see this one going quick.

Goodmorning Rhode Island. Today is my last day off until the end of December. We will officially be open 7 days a week. 10-5 Monday-Saturday 11-4 Sunday. Most would consider this crazy, but when you love what you do. This is a pleasure not a burden.

During this past show I picked up quite a hual of some really cool material. Now that I got the store somewhat back together; I'll be making ID tags for all the specimens.

Check out this large seafoam green gem apophyllite. This would make a wonderful Christmas gift. Don't forget thats right around the corner.

What an epic weekend.... phew.... This post isn't going to be about new material or holiday hours. This post is about gratitude.

Thank you to Louis with Louis Fazzina and the board members of Rhode Island Mineral Hunters that donated their time to put on such great show. This was a show to remember. We really should give them all a round of applause. GREAT JOB.

More importantly, the attendance. Thank you. Your support is fueling our dream and I can't express how blessed I feel. You're all amazing.

Let's keep this alive for another 53 years or more.

I've had a few people come to me and ask for grape agate. Well, I found a beautiful specimen available in the Rhode Island Gem and Mineral Hunters club gem show. If you decide to come to the show check out Jason's booth. This is a great example that looks incredible.
