The Best Angel Hair From the Victoria’s Secret After-Party
Brushed Angel waves may be the gold standard in bombshell hair, but it was after the wings came off at last night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that things really got interesting. Spotted on the after-party’s pink carpet, the models reworked their wind machine–ready manes into a lineup of styles that offered a glimpse into their personal aesthetics.
True to form, Candice Swanepoel kept things sleek and simple, with her waves smoothed into a glossy side part that took on an Old Hollywood quality thanks to a pop of bright crimson lipstick, while fellow all-star Angel Lily Aldridge squeezed in a blowout that was divided clean down the center. Sara Sampaio and Constance Jablonski took advantage of their leftover beachy texture with loosely woven braids that were a natural match for their sunny n**e makeup. But in the end, it was the rookies’ time to shine: Kendall Jenner offset the strategic cutouts of her floor-length gown with a casual half-up bun—a strategy her part-time hair twin Gigi Hadid employed with a low-slung knot that felt even softer thanks to a few face-framing pieces.
