Running clears my mind… so when we get a little bit of sunshine, I’m out here… but nothing says peace like staying ready.

I love trail runs. They’re easy to navigate, out the way and has a great connection to nature. But as women, we don’t have the freedoms to run anytime, anyplace like men do. Let’s be honest about that.

That’s why I keep a little something on me at all times. No I’m not afraid, but I’m also aware and I value being prepared.
