The cutest little town - we walked ALL the way around it. We also had to take water taxis to the dock 🤩

✔️ Skagway Brewing for FRESH fish and chips (they also had some great gluten free options for me)
✔️ Birthday dinner for another one of our guests

Day 5 - Juneau
They did a GREAT spa offer and it was a really long day in port, so my husband went golfing and I got a massage

Travel Tip Tuesday ✈️

Direct flight vs. NON-STOP… did you know they’re not the same?

A non-stop flight goes from point A to point B with no stops. A direct flight may keep the same flight number—but can still stop along the way.

Always double check before booking if you’re trying to avoid stops!

Day 4 - Ketchikan
You won’t believe it, but we went SNORKELING in ALASKA! 😳
✔️ Tour with Snorkel Alaska - held sea stars (they’re purple!), sea urchins, and a sea cucumber
✔️ Salmon watching - there were tons spawning!
✔️ Whales! I only got tail pics and they were REALLY far away 🐋
✔️ Trivia night
✔️ A (very) late sunset (like 10pm)

Day 3 - Sea Day
Here we come Alaska!
✔️ Explore the ship
✔️ Play games
✔️ Watch ship performances and nature talks
✔️ Look for whales 🐋
✔️ Formal night
The sea was a little rough this day, lots of open ocean.

Day 2 - Embarkation Day
A little cloudy, but still beautiful weather
✔️ Uber to Canada Place
✔️ Embarkation was a breeze
✔️ Lunch on the ship until the rooms were ready at 1pm
✔️ Sail Away Party around 5pm
✔️ Birthday dinner #1
Fun fact, two of the folks in our group had birthdays during the cruise!
