The Waterloo Business Association is looking for volunteers to help serve food and beverages during the 66th Annual Wiener & Kraut Day on Saturday, September 12.

Community events like Wiener & Kraut Day are only possible because of the incredible support of our local businesses and volunteers. As our event continues to grow, so does the need for helping hands. Whether you can volunteer for one shift or encourage members of your staff, family, or organization to help, every volunteer makes a difference.

These community events bring thousands of visitors to Waterloo each year, supporting our local businesses, organizations, and community. To keep these traditions alive and thriving, we need our community to come together.

If you're able to help serve food or beverages, we'd greatly appreciate your support. Volunteer shifts are available throughout the day at both Downtown Waterloo and Fireman's Park.

Nope it’s not a hummingbird… it’s a hummingbird moth. I am lucky enough to usually get to see at least one each year. It always makes me a little emotional to see one. It is one of the few things that will stop me dead in my tracks. I’m glad I had my phone on me to catch this video the other day. I’ve heard they are a sign of good fortune and a good omen. I’ll take it! Enjoy 😊 , share it with someone who would love to see it
