We're very proud of the work we put into our website and blog over the years. Many of our articles have helped people, and we want them to keep helping people. It's always nice to hear that we helped someone sell their piano or even prevented them from being scammed! ❤️

In that same vein, we also want to continue helping people buy a piano. We've always said providing an education is our main goal with customers. While we won't be around to answer questions in the future, Bren has trained this AI Bot to do so for us.

Using his Piano Pricer ChatGPT, you can determine a fair price for a piano whether you're buying or selling. Bren fed it a tooonnnn of data we've collected over the years. Working pretty well according to our testing!

It's free to use, and we just genuinely hope it helps people in buying/selling a piano on their own. Think of it like having a many Family Piano salesperson in your pocket. 👍

Yes, we are still offering 90 day warranties on all pianos purchased through Sat, Jan 18th! 👍

Alice is tuning and refurbishing all our remaining pianos before they go out—and doing a heck of a job on them if we do say so ourselves! 👏

In the rare case that something isn't quite right on arrival though, email us and we'll get you taken care of. We're standing behind our work even beyond our end.

P.S. forgot to share this before, but the photo is of Alice being honored at the final Piano Technician's Guild meeting we hosted at Family Piano. Alice's contributions to the technician community really can't be understated. From modest beginnings in her garage to teaching and training dozens of techs to ultimately leading the largest tech team in the Midwest. Well deserved commemoration, and we continue to be very proud of our founder, and of all the technicians we've worked with throughout the years. ❤️

Just kidding: we're actually going to be shutting down forever after this Saturday, January 18th. 🚨 Meaning this is Family Piano's final week open....

We had a pretty great weekend. Yesterday alone, Brendan sold 5 pianos—including the Ritmuller and Mason & Hamlin grands we had previously shared! 🙌

So now we're left with 17 refurbished acoustic pianos. 10 are priced under $1,799. 5 grand pianos left, 2 of which are baby grands. 🎹 No more polished ebony pianos. No more digitals or Kawai pianos. ❌

We had an estate sale roll through our garage sale of office equipment and piano accessories. Didn't clean us out completely though. Still time to come take a look if you like bargain hunting.

We'll send our final update on the store early next week. Thanks for your continued support through the past 5 months and over the last 18 years. It's really been the best. ❤️

Announcing our new venture: Family Furniture Co!

No, not really. 😬 But we do have a ton of furniture, office supplies, appliances, gym equipment (yes, really), tech, piano accessories, etc. — and everything needs a new home.
