This weekend we celebrated our baby squirrel’s 6th birthday at a local park with friends.

Her instructions? ALL. THE. UNICORNS 🦄

We had a craft/activity station with a unicorn puzzle dice game, and a whole bin of unicorns kids could paint (with acrylic markers) and turn into magnets to take home.

I designed custom bubble wands we cut out of acrylic, and Paul made unicorn headbands on the 3D printer.

The bubble wands and paint station were a huge hit!

We’re getting ready for a fun afternoon/evening at summer camp, and this is one of the activities for kiddos to earn an arts and crafts badge.

Tabletop co****le toss - each part of the set pops out. We’ll have paint markers for each kiddo to make their own unique set (and lots of extra tokens because I know these will get lost quickly).

If you have a little one who is working on their letters and handwriting, I have the perfect product for you!

These handwriting practice boards are personalized with the child’s name at the top.

The board is about 11x11” and these will come with a dry erase marker and eraser. It’s a perfect way to practice handwriting without wasting paper!

Another nutty order this weekend. We’ve had this squirrel puzzle in the shop for awhile and this order with the stunning autumnal colors just POPS!

And of course our little baby squirrel wanted to make her own squirrel puzzle so we cut a smaller version from scrap wood for her to paint next to me.

We haven’t used this paint (well actually it’s a gel stain) a lot yet, but the colors are so vibrant!

A few weeks ago, a customer on Etsy messaged me asking if we could make a sign with 25 handwriting samples.

She was asking about the signs where we place each individual letter cut out of acrylic.

I told her that I’d love to tell her yes, but I would not be happy with the quality of the product due to size constraints with our machines (and we can do up to 16x24”). I explained our process and that I’d love to fulfill her request, but the only way I’d be comfortable with doing so is if she was willing to do an engraved version instead, where I’d be able to better control the quality (and not be afraid of teeny tiny pieces of acrylic falling off the sign during transport).

She appreciated my candor and immediately ordered the engraved version you see here. We were so happy with how it turned out!

We ended up doing a custom size of 10x24 and fit every single treasured sample.
