Let me tell you WHY You NEED this soap dish.
It starts with a story:
Back in 2011, when we first started sourcing African Black Soap from Ghana, we cut the bars into 4 X 2 inch slices, and just wrapped them up whole.
But many of our customers began complaining that they “melted” (dissolved) too quickly in the shower, and the bars became too squishy in the middle.
Of course, as African Black Soap ALREADY had a peculiar look about it- some of our customers said their spouses threw their bars away, thinking they were granola bars in the shower! Haha!
Because of that, I knew that I needed to make the soap bars more visibly appealing to our audience, as well as longer-lasting.
So we began cutting the bars into smaller cubes.
That helped, but people were still needing a clean and efficient way to transport and store the “In-Use” cubes from the shower to the sink.
And that’s where this tiny, adorable porcelain soap “basin” came in:
We taught (and teach) our customers to place one ABS cube in the basin, keep it stored on the bathroom sink counter, or transport it to the shower for use.
Then after using the soap cube, shake the excess water off the cube, and place it back in the basin, on the counter.
This one action makes one ABS cube last for weeks. And it makes the appearance unmistakably: SOAP.
And what I love most about it is:
When I want to use the Bisous Pour Tous Facial Exfoliant in the shower, I scoop a bit of it into the soap basin, place the soap cube on top, and then use them both at the same time. Afterward, I rinse the soap basin, shake the soap cube free of excess water, and place it back into the basin, back onto the sink counter.
It’s a simple and efficient way to protect and preserve the soap cube, the exfoliant, and your skin all at the same time!
Such a mighty useful tool...
