It’s Friday, so here’s what we’ve been up to in the studio this week!

This week’s lineup includes Santa Skeletons, Skeletons with a Heart, an Alien Skeleton, plus a Skunk, Sheep, and Beluga Whale (and yes — I completely forgot to mention the Axolotl you’ll see in the background). We also added a Mastiff to our Adoption Day dogs.

We kicked off a new collection: Holidays with Attitude, starting with a Ghost and a Mummy. Rounding out the rest, we printed some Halloween Go‑Cart Clickers and Gingerbread Figurines with wonderfully ridiculous expressions.

Note: These items won’t be at tomorrow’s market since we’re doing a full inventory afterward and decided not to add new pieces this week.

We also assembled our spool rewinder and demonstrated how it works — always fun to show the behind‑the‑scenes tools that keep the studio running.

On the printers right now is the beginning of a nativity set, and Gail has a list of 36 prints for grab bags… so Matt will be keeping the printers very, very busy for a while.

Tomorrow night we’re doing something new — our first evening market!

We’ll be at the Maker’s Market: An Evening on Main St. from 4–9 PM at Middle James Brewing Company - Waxhaw. Local vendors, live music, food trucks… it’s going to be a great night out, and we’re excited to bring a full lineup of prints to the event. Thanks to Maker's Market CLT for organizing this event and Intention Chiropractic for sponsoring!

This is our first night market, so we’re really looking forward to seeing how the evening crowd compares to our usual daytime shows. If you’re in the area, come hang out, grab some food, enjoy the music, and stop by our booth!

And later today we’ll be posting our This Week in the Studio video with all the prints we’ve been working on — lots of fun stuff this week.

It’s Friday, so here’s what we’ve been up to in the studio this week!

This week’s video includes a fun mix of prints: Seal, Crystal Spider, Sailfish, Alien, Mini Wand Spinner Fidget, Pumpkin Clickers, Cactus Clickers, Turkeys, and a Bat. A little bit of everything.

We also printed parts for a respooler using a new‑to‑us material: CoPE (co‑polyester). It’s strong and flexible, but definitely a challenge — we had to switch to an engineering build plate and use glue to get it to behave. I walk through what made it tricky and how we got it dialed in.

On the printers right now are Tigers, and we also swapped out our remaining Bambu P1S for our new Bambu X2D, so we’re back to having a matched pair of printers again. In the video, I show how the spinner fidgets are printed by object instead of by layer, which is always fun to watch.

No markets this weekend, but next weekend we’ll have our first night market — details coming next week!

No market this weekend, and it’s been a quiet week in the studio. We’ve officially entered the “quiet before the storm” phase as we reset the studio and do some periodic maintenance on our printers in preparation for the upcoming fall market season.

And speaking of the fall market season… we have a ton of markets planned. The board is filling up fast — 16 verified markets, one pending, and two open dates we’re planning to fill for a total of 24 market days between September and Christmas. Call us crazy, but we’ll have markets every weekend except two during that stretch.

Gail’s Wall of Filament and our printers will be put to the test as a constant stream of prints rolls out each week. But honestly, we love it — meeting customers, chatting with fellow vendors, and bringing new pieces to every show is one of our favorite parts of the season.

We’re all set up for our 2‑day Christmas in July market hosted by Sunny Day Markets! We’ll be here 10–4 today and 10–3 tomorrow — stop by and say hi!

The booth is stocked, displays are ready, and everything’s staged for a great weekend. If you’re in the area, we’d love to see you!

It’s Friday, so here’s what we’ve been up to in the studio this week!

We printed a fun spinner‑clicky fidget that uses a rubber band and ball bearings, plus more Bearded Dragons and a smaller Ball Python. We also added a Jackalope, Spinosaurus, Turtle Keychain, Goat, Bearded Dragon Keychain, Orca, Dragon Hatchling, and a Ferret to the lineup.

And this weekend is a big one — our first 2‑day market!

We’ll be at the Union County Agricultural Center in Monroe, NC:
• Saturday: 10am–4pm
• Sunday: 10am–3pm

It’s a big weekend for us — our first 2‑day show! We’ll be at the 5th Annual Christmas In July event at the Union County Agricultural Center this Saturday and Sunday, hosted by Sunny Day Markets.

There will be 80+ indoor and outdoor vendors, photos with Santa, food trucks, coffee, permanent jewelry, a trucker hat bar, and tons more. It’s one of the biggest shows of the summer and we’re excited to be part of it.

It’s Friday, and this week we’re doing something a little different — a behind‑the‑scenes look at how we get ready for market day!

We’re walking through our staging area, showing off our new display table setup, giving a peek at Gail’s Wall of Filament, going through our market bins (how we transport and display everything), and showing our price signs and how we organize them.

And at the end, you’ll get a quick preview of our new Outro — still a work in progress, but we’re excited about it.

We’ll be at The Venue at Turkey Ridge (4907 E Dixon Blvd, Kings Mountain, NC) tomorrow from 10am–4pm. Hope to see you there!
