I would like to take a moment to highlight the life of one of the most influential people I have had the honor to call a role model, friend, mentor and above all Grandpa Dick. Richard “Dick” Haag; The “H” in D&H (Dack and Haag) tack and leather. Some of my fondest memories as a child include a workbench with some water, leather, and stamps or behind the reins of one of many horses we had growing up. From a young age I learned all I could from him about western lifestyle traveling around Nebraska to rodeos and auctions selling horse tack and cowboy gear. After moving back to southwest Nebraska a few months ago, one of my favorite things to do was bring over new projects I had finished or had been working on to show Grandpa Dick. I would hope I can continue to make him proud.

We’re gonna miss you Bottom Dollar Dick.

Went on a little bit of what some might call a business excursion down at the stock yards today to scope of some of the competition. Needless to say it was a good time.
