Unpopular opinion:

The issue usually isn’t the budget.

It’s the expectations attached to the budget. 👀

I often receive inquiries that sound something like:

“I have a $500 budget and want a luxury backdrop, balloon installation, custom signage, florals, tables, chairs, linens, and full setup.”

Let’s break that down:

✨ Balloon installation: $400-$800+
✨ Custom backdrop & signage: $300-$700+
✨ Tables & chairs: $200-$600+
✨ Florals: $150-$1,000+
✨ Delivery, setup & breakdown: $150-$500+

Before you know it, that Pinterest-inspired event is a $1,500-$3,500+ investment.

And that’s okay!

Having a smaller budget doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful event. It just means we need to prioritize where your budget will make the biggest impact.
