For Amanda, who loves Sunflowers 🌻 and all the other Mama's who are sending their babies off, for the first time, into the big wide world this Fall 💝

We are stocking Cafe Floriana with these last bouquets of our season. We learned a lot with our little backyard test plot flower garden!! In our second season, we are discovering new loves and deciding who to bring back next year for our third season.

Some of our favorites include Scabiosa, Cosmos, Bells of Ireland, Yarrow, Daisy, Sunflowers, and Wild foraged grasses 🌿

This morning posy gathered during morning watering chores, bright and full of life, reminds us midsummer is a good time to pause and reflect.

We've been riding out the Spring energy and are starting to tire of that pace.

Savoring Summer is now our priority. Being present to the growth and being able to witness the bounty that is about to unfurl in the garden!

With a cold June, our flowers were timid and not sure if it was time yet. They are feeling more confident these days, and we are gearing up for another pop-up at Cafe Floriana this Friday-Sunday, July 31st-Aug1st. We'll have a variety of bouquets, none quite the same.

A little bud vase today with our new friends, Starflower, Lemon Mint, and Bells of Ireland.

This is our second year growing Bells of Ireland and we are still learning from them. They hold a special place as a main bloom in my wedding bouquet and the kids love them because they think they smell like Sprite! They do have a unique and refreshing scent 💦

They also have some unique growing needs, but we are committed to cultivating this friendship for the longhaul 💚

A gathering of wild and cultivated blooms, for the long days of becoming. She's not quite finished, she knows it, and she has stopped apologizing for it. She walks barefoot through the garden in the golden hour, unhurried, sun-warm, quietly abundant. She is the bloom, the field, and the forager.
