🔋 Got dead batteries? Bring them to Biene! As of January 1, 2026, Illinois has a statewide battery stewardship program. Household batteries should not go in your curbside trash or recycling bin.
As part of my community initiatives, I’ve always supported this effort and offered to collect your common household batteries for proper recycling.
You can:
* Hand them to me at any Biene market — no purchase necessary!
* Give them to me during Biene doorstep delivery when you place an order at www.Go-Biene.com
🚨 A friendly reminder: this service is for empty, intact common household batteries such as AA, AAA, C, D and 9V batteries.
For safety reasons, I cannot accept swollen, leaking, cracked, overheated or corroded batteries.
And I’m saying that because last time I received a bunch of those. 😬 Not cool, friends!
But what if you have broken or damaged batteries? Please check the first comment to find out where you can safely bring those.
Let’s keep those batteries out of the trash and keep everyone handling them safe.
