Before and after.

Came in today to shelves that had been wiped out. Spent the afternoon restocking and refreshing with a fresh batch of sets across Star Wars, Creator, Harry Potter, City, Classic, Friends, Technic and more.

The shelves are full. Come get yours before they aren't. 🧱

Trader Buck's Flea Market, Lafayette.

I sold a Duplo set today. I was so happy.
Then I looked at where it was shipping.
California.
Duplo sets are large, heavy, expensive to ship, low margin, and the slowest sellers in any LEGO reseller's inventory. Most resellers won't touch them. Most definitely won't offer free shipping on them anywhere, let alone the West Coast.
You'd have to be crazy to do that on purpose. Or love doing this.
I'm the latter. Mostly. 🧱📦😮‍💨

Thank goodness I figured out a way to be on-brand for my fantasy football team this year!

Dropped over $2000 on Lego today for the store and I cannot WAIT to show you what came in!

It’s done.

I don’t want to talk about how long it took. I don’t want to talk about how many times I reorganized it. I don’t want to talk about the sets that were on the floor for longer than I’m comfortable admitting. And I definitely don’t want to talk about any secondary overflow spaces that still may exist for extra inventory.

What I will tell you is that the main Banta’s Bricks warehouse is 20x10 feet of tight, clean, fully shelved and sorted by theme LEGO organization and I am choosing to feel like I just summited Everest.

It’s finally done. 🧱😮‍💨

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾🧱

Took the LEGO Golden Retriever Puppy out for some fresh air and socialization. He's doing great. Made some friends. Did not fetch the ball.

If you want to bring one of these home, Banta's Bricks has a sealed version available — the perfect gift for the dog lover and LEGO fan in your life. Message me for this set or stop by Trader Buck's Flea Market or Sell It Here in Lafayette for loads more treasures!

Over 35 sets going out today. Multiple copies of some. All of them going out by end of business.

The grind is real but so is the inventory. If you see something you like in the pan, let me know in the comments — chances are I have more. 🧱📦

The brick separator trick changed everything for me. The Windex method is messier than expected. Both work. 👀

Applying LEGO stickers used to make me say things I can't repeat. Then I stopped using my fingers. Watch till the end for both methods — one is cleaner, one gives you more wiggle room, and neither involves suffering. 🧱

I told my family it was market research.

I bought every LEGO Pokémon Smart Play set. Now the Banta family is choosing their starters and settling this once and for all. Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Charizard, and more!

Follow along for the upcoming builds and battles. 🧱⚡
