The brick separator trick changed everything for me. The Windex method is messier than expected. Both work. 👀

Applying LEGO stickers used to make me say things I can't repeat. Then I stopped using my fingers. Watch till the end for both methods — one is cleaner, one gives you more wiggle room, and neither involves suffering. 🧱

Sell It Here booth update!

Spent today setting up two new shelving units and getting the bulk of the sets off the floor — which sounds straightforward until you factor in the thunderstorm that rattled the building so hard that both myself and several customers briefly questioned if we should take underground shelter.

No tornadoes. Lots of LEGO.

Slowly but surely this place is coming together.

Banta’s Bricks second location is open for business!

You can now find us at Sell It Here in addition to Trader Buck's — both in the Lafayette area.

This location is curated differently. Sets you can’t find at Trader Buck’s. Sets you can’t find in stores anymore. Retired pieces, hard to find gems, and many of your current retail favorites — all at prices lower than you’d pay anywhere else.

Think of Trader Buck’s as the all-you-can-eat buffet — something for everyone, enormous selection, you won’t leave hungry. Sell It Here is the chef’s tasting menu — smaller, curated, every set hand picked for a reason.

Star Wars. Harry Potter. Marvel. Creator. Botanicals. Technic. One Piece. Disney. Ninjago. Dimensions. Polybags. Keychains. Hats. Plushies. And a lot more where that came from.

Fair warning — this is still a work in progress. More shelves are on the way and once they arrive this place is going to look even more ridiculous in the best possible way, with many more hidden gems. Come see it now and come back again when it’s done. It’ll be worth both trips.

Late night tonight prepping for move-in day at Sell It Here. Sorting, pricing, and slowly turning my dining room into a warehouse. 🧱

We got a new spot! It is currently very, very empty. 🧱

Banta’s Bricks is opening a second location at Sell It Here in Lafayette, and I would love to show you a beautifully stocked booth overflowing with LEGO.

Instead, here’s a photo of my son with his arms out, confirming that yes, you can alllmoost touch both walls. 😄

That’s the space! Bare pegboard, good lighting, and an absolutely absurd amount of potential.

Here’s the thing though — it IS smaller than our Trader Bucks booth, and that’s kind of the point. Less warehouse, more curated. Every set that goes on that wall has to earn its spot. Think boutique. Think hand-picked. Think fewer things, but all of them great.

We’re moving in over the coming days, so come watch it go from “empty pegboard” to “oh wow.” 🙌
