I'm developing my very first board game for my 8-week game design college class. It will be ready for it's a working protype by the end of the 8 weeks. It will also be presented by me at OZ CON in West Plains, Missouri on that Friday for an hour-long session only!
Game Introduction
Dawn of the Zeds: The Board Game, 2-4 players find themselves in a zombie apocalypse. As a survivor, your goal is to navigate through treacherous paths, gather essential resources, and either defeat an overwhelming zombie horde or reach a safe zone before your fellow survivors in the free-for-all mode.
Alternatively, you could also play co-op mode where players must work together to survive. They could share resources and assist each other in combat. For example, one player might be able to heal another, or two players might need to combine their resources to craft an item to help them progress. In this mode, the game could have multiple endings depending on how many players survive or achieve the objectives.
Along the way, you’ll encounter other survivors, scavenge for supplies, and fight off zombie groups. Every decision counts, and every encounter could be your last. Will you outlast the apocalypse or fall victim to the undead?
