This instrument on my messy bench is my latest repair. A Sitar. It had fallen to the floor and broken along the gourd by the tuning pegs. I had to carve replicas of missing broken pieces. I've repaired a couple of sitars years ago. But, neither were as involved as this instrument. I learned a great deal about sitars while working on this. I could confidently work on more if they are brought in.

This guitar just needed some cleaning and adjustments. The tuning machines were tough to turn. Removing the gunk and applying a dab of grease to each gear had them working like new.
