Eight O' Clock coffee is still sold in many stores across the country, but it actually goes back 167 years to 1859 where it was first introduced by The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company or A&P. They actually named the coffee Eight O' Clock after finding that 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. were the most popular times to drink coffee. ☕️

At first glance this just looks like an ordinary antique glass picture frame with an old portrait, but it's actually a little more than that. This is an antique chimney flue cover. These were decorative metal or glass plates used in the Victorian and early 20th centuries to seal the wall hole left after a wood or coal stove was disconnected for the summer. These were designed to improve room aesthetics, prevent drafts, and keep out small animals.
