💜🌿 Day 2 of the Maryland Lavender Festival! 🌿💜

What a wonderful weekend it has been so far! We’re excited to be back today sharing our handcrafted teas, spices, baking blends, extracts, and cookbooks with festival guests.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by yesterday, shared their favorite flavors, asked questions, and supported small businesses. Those conversations are one of our favorite parts of every event.

Good morning Westminster! We’re officially set up for Opening Day at the Westminster Farmers Market today from 8am–12pm!

We’ll have a large selection of our small-batch handcrafted spice blends, seasonings, teas, cocoas, extracts, and more available this morning — all made with the clean ingredient approach My Gurl & Me™ is known for.

This year, we’ll only be attending 3 Westminster market dates:

We love seeing how you use our products! Our Peruvian Chicken Rub is a new release, and we love making Peruvian chicken bowls. Slow roasted chicken seasoned with our blend, over chaufa rice, corn, black beans, pico de gallo, and sour cream, and topped with Ají Verde and Ají Amarillo sauces. Link in the comments!

Good morning, Westminster! We’re excited to kick off show season today at the 2026 Westminster Flower & Jazz Festival from 10a–4p!

We’ve added a LOT of new products since we were last in the area, including:

* Thai Citrus & Herb
* Peruvian Chicken Rub
* Parmesan Garlic Blend

To make room for new blends, some of our spice blends have been rotated to online / made-to-order only. Our full selection is always available online, while we’ll carry a rotating subset at shows throughout the season.

We’re also now offering loose leaf teas!
Our tea blends that contain spices or citrus will continue to be available only in tea bags, since the powders are too heavy to give a consistent loose-leaf cup. All other tea blends are now available as loose leaf, with the full lineup online and a rotating selection available at events.

Cocoa season is almost over for shows!
As temperatures rise, we’ll soon stop bringing our Belgian chocolate cocoa blends to outdoor events to protect product quality. Once temps consistently climb above 70°, cocoas will become made-to-order for local pickup only and will pause shipping during hotter periods if conditions could compromise the product.

Don’t forget — our cocoas make incredible mochas year-round:
Just add to hot coffee to melt the chocolate, then enjoy hot or iced!

We’ve also added several new baking mixes using our custom Italian flour blends. As always, we’ll have a rotating selection at shows, with the full lineup available online.

We’re unfortunately not able to attend the Parkton Artisan Festival Spring Market this upcoming weekend.

Because our placement was moved this year, we conducted an in-person site check ahead of the event. During that visit, we found the assigned vendor space did not include a level hard-surface placement for our booth. Our setup includes over 20 feet of tables and several hundred pounds of glass products and counterweights, so we require stable ground for safety. The available space this year was soft, uneven grass and could not safely support our display.

We’ve been placed on blacktop at this event in previous years, so this change was unexpected and disappointing for us as well. We always try to verify conditions ahead of time when placements change so we can avoid unsafe setups or last-minute cancellations.

Our next event will be the 2026 Westminster Flower & Jazz Festival on May 9th from 10a-4p, and we hope to see you there! In the meantime, you can always order online for shipping or local pickup:

We are excited to be returning to Parkton Artisan Festival for another event! This will be our first event of 2026, and we have a lot of new products to share with you! From our Parmesan Garlic blend to our Peruvian Chicken blend, as well as our Italian flour baking mixes - including biscuits, pizza dough, and more!
