For our new followers... welcome! Let’s start from the beginning.

The story behind our brand is a sweet one. It started in December 1980, at a Catholic school Christmas party. A nun brought toffee, and it was so good she was teaching a few teachers her recipe the very next Saturday, in the school cafeteria. That morning was just the beginning.

Swipe through for a few memories along the way. Here’s to where we’ve been, and everything still to come.

Still growing, still sharing, still Heavenly.

The Beginning of Heavenly

In 2008, Heavenly officially became a business. Ever since, our remarkably thin, handcrafted toffee has been at the heart of everything we do, and it’s still our signature today.

One Sweet Addition

A few years after Heavenly began, our cookies joined the lineup. Made with pieces of our handcrafted toffee, they quickly became a customer favorite alongside the original toffee.

Market Weekends Became a Tradition

From local markets to community events, we’ve loved sharing Heavenly face-to-face. Every event has introduced us to new customers while reconnecting us with familiar ones.

Growing One Flavor at a Time

What started with our classic milk chocolate toffee has grown into a collection of customer favorites, seasonal flavors, and limited batch releases.

More Choices, Same Recipe

As Heavenly continued to grow, so did our flavor lineup. Every new variety was created with the same commitment to quality and handcrafted care that started it all.

A Fresh Look

Around this time, Heavenly introduced a new look while continuing to do what we love most… making handcrafted treats worth sharing.

Making Heavenly Easier to Share

Our resealable toffee pouches, first introduced around 2020, made it even easier to enjoy, gift, and save your favorite treats while keeping them fresh.

Growing Beyond the Market

Nearly two decades later, Heavenly has expanded beyond farmers markets into local grocery stores, gift shops, coffee shops, and hotels throughout the Midwest.

One of our most-asked questions: Can I freeze your cookies? Yes! We skip preservatives, so we recommend eating within 7 days.

Not going to eat 12 cookies in a week? Totally normal. Pop them in the freezer and they’ll taste just as good whenever you’re ready.

Get the dozen. No pressure to finish it fast. Still heavenly.
